SIMAUDIO MOON AMPLIFIERS
The Moon I-3.3 is now discontinued, replaced by a new model with similar specs and designs, but a new appearance. Which gives you an opportunity to pick up a new or refurb amp at a substantial saving. And unlike some other sources, we are an authorized Simaudio dealer, which means you get a factory warranty.
Because of production variations, some versions looked a little different from this photo. Face plates may be silver, as shown, or black. You may state your preference, but we can't guarantee the color. All versions are remote-controlled, and have an integrated headphone amp..
There were several versions, which differed depending on the factory options included. The "D" option (originally $400) is a built-in 24/192 converter, not unlike the standalone 100D. The "P" option (originally $300) is a built-in phono preamp for MM and MC cartridges, like the standalone 110LP. The "X" option (originally $200) is a balanced input, with XLR connectors. The original price of the I-3.3, before any options, was $3300.

AUDIOMAT PHONO1.6
This remarkable phono stage from Audiomat hasn't been our reference for all that long, and we don't like to make changes too often...but here we go! We originally bought the Audiomat Phono1.6 because, independently of its sonic atributes, it added a certain emotional magic to the music. We're swapping it for a new Audiomat, which costs nearly double the price (you'll be able to read about it in our next issue). The unit is fully run in (of course), but it is in mint condition, with the original box.
